ROR photography question

I'm sure this is probably posted somewhere in this thread but I was wondering...

We are getting married at ROR on Jan.15/2009. We are using the "free wedding package". Does anyone know if any wedding pictures are included in this package or is it a seperate cost? Do you have to contact Michael and book his services prior to the ceremony? and if so does anyone have an updated price list of the photography packages? Or Michael's contact info?

It just donned on me in the middle of the night and I went into a panic thinking I might not have a photographer at my ceremony! YIKES!!

If any one has any info for me....I would GREATLY appreciate it!

I don't think any photos are included in the free package. Also, Michael does not automatically show up, especially if you have the free package. You have to go to the PhotoShop when you arrive & schedule him for your wedding.

I think he has a list of upcoming weddings & he'll probably email you prior to your date. He sent me an email introducing himself, sent his price list, and sent samples of his work about a month before my wedding.

Here is Michael's contact info:

Fax Jamaica +1876-7949786

cell Jamaica +1876-4338776

I've attached his price list which is for 2008. Not sure how much it changes for 2009 but I'm sure he'll send you an updated list.

Hi,

I don't think the free package automatically includes photography but you can book the resort photographer prior to arriving.

I spoke with Michael two weeks ago and he said that the 2009 price list would be available the middle of October (which is now) so you could probably get it if you contact him.

I just received the email from Michael. He sent me his price list (200cool.gif and said that he is still working on the new one for 2009.

The price list indicates that the "Free Package" does not include any pictures, intial cost is $160 and you still need to book him. It is only the Royal and Caprice packages where he shows up automatically.

I am going to email the confirmation form back to him today to book our times and photo package.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just a heads up ladies. Michael emailed me the new pricing for 2009 today.

It is a different cost totally if you want to use him (included in bottom portion of sheet).

It appears as though pricing has gone up a bit since last year.

I am not sure how to attach it here but if you would like to see, I will send it to those that want it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
