My husband looked fabulous in his suit. So glad he chose it. He did not wear a tie and when we were done with pictures he took off his jacket.

The ceremony was 7 minutes and we had beach umbrellas put out over everyone (including us) so it was cooler.

I tried to convince Cain to wear a suit Jacket but I had no luck. So he's not wearing one. I was a little worried if with my wedding dress if I would be too over dressed for him, but you know what, it's a DW so anything goes. And I've seen a ton of pictures where the groom takes off his jacket for some of the pictures and it still looks good. So I'm not worried.

I am wearing a light linen suit for our ceremony. At first I wanted to wear a short sleeve shirt and pants for the ceremony, but it gradually morphed into a suit. One suggestion is to bring a suit along with you just in case he feels like wearing it. I dont plan on wearing a tie right now, but I am still bringing one just in case.

I think my FI and his GM are going to wear light-weight, tan-color suits, with no tie. I love this look for a DW. Most ceremonies are on the short side, and they won't have to be in the jacket for long. Plus, having your skin covered up actually keeps you cooler...especially in a light color. Hence, many outdoor laborers wear white, long sleeve shirts.

Tim is wearing a suit. I told him that he could wear a nice button down shirt with shorts, but he insisted on wearing a suit. You is so cute. It is going to be super hot in Costa Rica. We are going during the rainy/humid season. I hope he take it.

My FI will wear a tan jacket and slacks with a short sleave tommy bahama style shirt underneath. If he is super sweaty/uncomfortable before the ceremony, maybe he won't wear it. We'll see. The Groomsmen will wear matching slacks and shirt to FI, but no jackets.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
