Airport Transportation to RIU

Recommended Posts

I have a couple questions about the transportation included in the RIU price. We are currently trying to decide if we want to get private transportation for everyone arriving the same day as us or just using the included transportation.

1) How many stops do you make along the way?

2) Does it stop at any other resorts on the way?

We are taking quite a few bags of luggage and possibly boxes with the OOT bag stuff in them.

3) Is there enough room on there for all of our stuff?

We made one stop to the resort and did not stop on the way to the airport

Our shuttle stopped at one resort on the way there-- Sandals

We had 7 bags and all of our stuff fit with a 8 other people and their luggage on our bus

I would recommend using Admiral Bailey. Welcome to Admiral Bailey Transportation Services Jamaica - Taxi and Tours Jamaica - Taxi and Tours Jamaica - Located out of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, Jamaica provides Transportation Services throughout Jamaica - www.admiralbaileytransportationservi He was very nice and took good care of us. We used him for our intown exursions and he was sort of like a tour guide. He took us to island village where Margaritaville is located and stayed with us the entire time. He also took us to Dunns River for our TTD pics and stayed with us the entire time. He even held our things so they didnt get wet, like $ and cell phone.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
