Using last initial on OOT stuff

I am planning on using our monogram with our last initial on our water bottles, chap sitck, and the OOT bags themselves. The problem is that I am planning on giving them out at the welcome dinner the night before. I know it is bad luck to use the last initial before the wedding but would it be ok for this?

People call me Mrs. K (his last name) and people have even called him Mr. S (my last name). So if that is bad luck we are screwed?

I've never heard of the bad luck thing either. Shoot, I already have an alternate e-mail address using my future last name where I keep pics of my dress and wedding stuff that I don't want FI to stumble upon. If you're screwed, then so am I. I say GO FOR IT!!!
