Nice to meet you all!
Vegas hotels have specials on and off all the time, except during Christmas and New Year's. If you go Sun-Thurs you'll find some great deals.

I will be getting married in Las Vegas in July 2009. We haven't chosen an exact date yet because I am waiting on my fiance to make a decision and he doesn't move fast to do anything!

I am thinking about The Little Chapel of the Flowers but will be checking other postings for suggestions. We are on a budget and looking to spend $500 or less on the ceremony package. We will be having less than 20 guests that attend and looking for a place to have a small lunch/dinner reception. My fiance wants to do one of the Brazilian restaurants where you get all the meat options.

Are there any other suggestions?

Thanks

Another Vegas bride here.

We're getting married at december 18 2008 at the Wynn hotel. Very excited about it!!

We have a package (just the basics) and we get a photographer for half a hour. We would like to hire a photographer who wants to take pictures for like 2 hours of us getting ready, after the ceremony with the wedding party and on the strip.

If you have any suggestion or advise please let me know.

I'm trying to plan our wedding from Europe...but I still like it wink.gif

I wanted to do a photo shoot in my dress at the Red Rock Canyon. The Little Chapel wanted $599 for the shoot and $495 for the photos on disk. I found many local photographers on craigslist that will do it for only a few hundred dollars and give you the photos on a disk. I decided on Toner Photography, wedding photographer, photographer, portraits, modeling, las vegas photographer, Her photos are very non-traditional and she has some great locations already in mind.

I'm doing the ceremony at The Little Chapel of the Flowers. It's going to cost around $455 with about 9 ceremony shots, 15 outdoor shots, 2 8x10's, flowers included (although I'm making my own), and extra time on the grounds to take our own photos. We're also including a handfasting and writing our own ceremony. You can also customize your music.

I found the Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris Hotel who will give you a special table (there's only 5 of us so that was hard to find) and let us choose the food selections. There will print a menu with our names on it and Congratulations and have a bottle of champagne waiting for us for a toast. They'll do all of this for only $65-70 per person (excludes the champagne).

With a small wedding party no other place would do anything special so they are helping to make my day amazing!

Hi-we had our 'reception" (if you call 16 people a reception) at Firefly on paradise(off strip, 5 minutes). It is a TAPAS restaurant with very ethnic and unique combinations. I dont know if its brazilian. They gave us a banquet menu and for 16 people the bill was only like 400.00 for food and pithcers of snagria and mojitos! It was UNLIMITEd food! They screwed up our bill tice, good thing I was sober to keep having them fix it!

HTH!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
