Who's getting married in Vegas? (Post HERE!)

Recommended Posts

Hi kim1580 cheesy.gif I did use Chelsea Nicole - she was AMAZING! We all loved her. I got married at the Lavender Salon at the Wynn. I really wanted the Primrose Court but it was way too hot in June.

Not sure if you've made a decision yet but a "beach" wedding (or something close to it) IS possible in Vegas....

Not cheap, but Loews at Lake Las Vegas is right on the water. We're actually doing DJ and Video there in a couple months, but have shot photos for engagement sessions there several times (matter of fact we just did one this evening). It's beautiful. I am at home right now and can't recall the banquet manager's name but if you want to PM me I can send you the info.

There's also a "beach" there, I'm pretty sure the Ritz Carlton "owns" that part of the beach and I'm not sure if they do weddings there.

We have a couple posts on our blog from previous LLV engagement sessions so you can get an idea of what it looks like there, and Tiffany got some AMAZING photos in tonight's session - they are still on the camera but should be on the blog by the middle of next week at the latest.

I can't remember the name of the other place here in Vegas "on the water" but it's out near Lake Sahara. They don't allow outside photographers so I don't have any contact info since we've never worked there.

You may also want to check with some of the larger strip casinos with big pools, possibly Caesars, Mandalay Bay, Rio, etc. which all have "sandy beaches"....

  • 2 weeks later...

I just had my wedding at Lake Las Vegas at Chapel Fiorenza and the reception on the La Contessa Yacht the first week of September. Everyone is still raving about how unique the yacht experience was. The views were beautiful and we watched the sunset. I just left a review on weddingwire...

Do you happen to have any photos? I'd love to see anything you have as I have only seen a few photos of the boat. Also, if you have any further information regarding their prices could you pm/email that to me as well? TIA!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
