My Homemade Quilt Gift

One of my best friends is due to have her first baby in January. She is the first of my friends to get married and now have a baby, so this is exciting and new for all of us

 

They have decided to name their baby boy Brody, after the character in Jaws (his Daddy is all about some sharks). So his nursery is going to be an under the sea theme. I decided I wanted to make her a quilt for him and found some awesome fabric in Allison's Etsy store (Etsy :: starlitnest :: READ ABOUT MY 20% OFF SALE BELOW!).

 

My Mom and I sat down together last night and cut all the fabric and put it all together. We haven't sewn it yet, but I wanted to know if y'all think it is cute or not. What do you think?

 

 

It is kind of hard to see in the picture, but there are fish, starfish, octopus, mermaids and sea horses. It will be about 38" squared.
