OK Girls here is the description of my newest and first DIY project for the wedding. I will post pictures as soon as they are assembled.

 

I bought those small wood boxes with a handle and clasp that you can find at craft stores (JoAnn's, Micheals Etc) and bought stamps that look like passport stamps as well as stamps that look like postage, and a passport. I covered the outside of the boxes in stamps.

 

I found these small leather (faux I am sure) luggage tags with Letters on them so I bought one for each couple with their monogram - F = Ford, G=Goodwin. I am printing cardstock with the following (plus embelishments)

and putting the cardstock in the luggage tag where you typically put your info.

 

I printed our names on paper over and over and over again and put it through the paper shredder to make our own confetti strips.

 

I am putting the luggage tags in the wooden boxes in tissue paper in our wedding colors and then surrounding the wooden boxes in the confetti and all of this will be in a cardboard box to mail to them...

 

what do you think....i swear i will post pictures as soon as i have some....

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
