Good evening ladies!

So excited to be sharing the dress pics with you cheer2.gif

I attached the pics first, but then researched the site and i guess attachments "steal" points - so signed up for photobucket.

Lets see if I'm as fast of a learner as I say on my resume smile105.gif

When I was choosing the dress - it was weird - I found myself being drawn towards completely different styles then I imagined. Here is the result.

Hi,

I'm a 10/24/09 bride too!! It's not feeling as far away now as it once did- there is so much to plan and do!! I have the dress and am starting the "save the dates"- because everyone keeps asking me so they can plan their vacations.

Is anyone fearful of rain? I'm having little anxiety attacks over the possibility of rain- I've heard when it rains it may only rain for 5 min. and be over...anyone know how true that is? I keep tracking the weather daily...

The DRESS is so amazing! I like it because it is totally different and totally fun!

Rach...the weather is sort of funny this time of year. We were down there in September and it did rain on and off throughout the week only it would just blow through and then be gone...I am more concerned about the wind. The only day it rained like how it does here in CA (all day) was the day Hurricane Ike got within 150 miles of where we were...

I think that makes four of us 10/24/09 brides?! I was totally freaking out about the possibility of rain at first. We all want our wedding day to be perfect! Now that I've been planning for a few months, I've kind of come to terms with the fact that no one can control the weather. We have been keeping the attitude that we are going to have a great time no matter what! Although those positive thoughts might change to panic again when next October gets closer... haha!

I'm an Oct 2009 bride! I'm glad to see there are so many of us now. When I first joined I felt like my wedding was sooo far away!

We've booked our location (Imperial Suite at the Fiesta Americana), travel details (staying at the Riu Palace in Cabo), WC (Amy Abbott). We also set up a wedding website and sent our Save the Date emails back in July. I purchased my dress a few weeks ago, and next up is invitations. That's as far along as I am though!

Oct 2009 seems so far away but I know it's going to come quickly!

sdbtrflygrl and smf47 - thank you :)

The dress is so light - literally and figuratevely - and yes, you're right - its different!

Heather - wow - I'm very impressed! You got it all down!

I'm worried about the rain - and smf47 is totally right - we shouldn't worry about things we cannot control.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
