Recommended Posts

Hello ladies!

My wedding colors are sky blue/turquoise and chocolate brown. I've been doing a lot of searching for unique and simple ideas to make things look special and paying attention to detail and I'm hoping you can all help me out. Post your unique ideas to make things look coordinated and extra special! Thanks!

I have tons of pics that match with those colors but the only flowers I can imagine having are white calla lillies in a very simple bouquet so that's what I'll be getting for me. Here are a few other pics...if you want more,PM me with your email address and I'll send them to you!

Mine isn't quite like this but it's kind of the same idea

I just love the color orange and how it contrasts with the turquoise! If I had a wedding at home and had planned more decor I would've added the orange to my colors. My living room is actually these colors.

I am doing chocolate brown, sky blue with touches of gold and white for our wedding. Here is some of my stuff and then some things that I have found for inspiration:

I am doing chocolate brown bm dresses (VS convertible) with white hair flowers with blue, gold and chocolate accents - they are still being made with an amazing supplier on Etsy.

My dress is white and I will have a white hair flower with blue accents.

FI will wear tan linen pants and a white shirt.

GM's will wear tan linen pants with either blue or brown shirts (haven't decided yet).

Honestly, we chose the color palette because it's natural. We want our decoration to be the beach, ocean, trees and sunset.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
