that you see and you say "OMG, is that me?" I Just saw a picture from a lake cruise I went on one evening with my fellow classmates and FI and my face is so fat!!!!!!!!! I guess I needed something like this to movitate me because I don't want "big fat face" in my wedding pictures...my dress fits fine, not the size I want but I thought oh well...but after seeing my face in the picture it is totally time to lose some weight!

This has happened to me once before when I saw a picture and from the angle it looked like I was pregnant! I just wish when I lost weight I could manage to keep it off!!!!!!!

ugh...how to fit school, work, homework, sleep and exercising in, should be interesting!

I have had that picture for about 2 years!! The worst ones are of my best friend's wedding. I was MOH and although I looked really nice I also looked like I was retaining about 400,000 L of water!! Can you say puffy!!huh.gif OMG. I was so disappointed!! But that was over a year ago & I have since shed a few of those pesky pounds...and not quite so puffy! But I'm still working on a few more so that I don't look like the michelin man for my wedding pics!!

Oh that's the worst. I feel your pain. I think photos are so hard to see of yourself, cuz you can just stare at it and stare at it and totally pick yourself apart from the tip of your hair to the tips of your toes.

At least you have plenty of time to take control before your wedding!

Too bad my wedding is past, cuz what's my motivation. I need something ot make me care enough to STOP EATING CAKE/CHOCOLATE/CHIPS/ETC. I even joined the BL this season and nada. I don't do anything different. It's like I care, but not enought o give up the food that I love.

before we were engaged, i told tom that the quickest way to get me to lose weight was to put a ring on my finger, because there was no way i was going to be a fat bride ... ummm ... guess it wasn't really motivation enough because i'm heavier than before the ring. i can't imagine what i'll be like AFTER the wedding, when i have no motivation to be thin! it doesn't help that my fiance is a big guy himself (6'4", about 300 lbs). when he is sitting there happily eating cheesesteaks, totally unconcerned with his weight, it's just hard.

the photos are the worst. the biggest loser girls convinced me i should take before pics, and well, they were just awful. i've been losing some weight this season (doing better than last round), but i find myself skipping the gym a lot, snacking ... i just don't know what i need to motivate me! a health scare?

I saw this photo last night when I was cleaning up my computer. I remember feeling heavy at the time, but good lord, I had no idea it was THAT bad! Then I proceeded to look at old videos on my computer, and I wanted to cry! At least it motivation to get my ass in the gym.

Ugh! My dress fits fine not back fat etc..however, as someone mentioned above my shoulders and FACE look "puffy" in the pics I took when I first bought it (hence not putting them on here!) but now that I am much closer to the date, seven months roughly, it is more motivation then being 14 months out!

I don't care if I lose any weight I just want my face to shrink and my shoulders and arms not to be "puffy"!

Guess that means getting out there and walking the dogs even when it is pitch black out when i get home!!!

I know that picture all too well!! After my Ex & I broke up 6 years ago..I was very over weight..SO I Joined Weight Watchers and the Gym and lost 40lbs...What a difference! I kept it off for four years (give or take 5 lbs) ..I swear 2 months after my FI got together..I had gained enough weight that my clothes weren't fitting!! UGH...Now when I look at old pictures I say...OMG..is this what I look like now??

Mummrgrl...I too, thought my Wedding would be motivation enough for me...But although I do try, I go to the gym 3 days a week...And try to eat healthy...I just have no Will power...It's not even real food that I over eat...It's SWEETS! I am a cookie & cake girl and when I want it, I want it!! LOL

But i've always been better under pressure..so I know when Feb rolls around, I'll be in "weight loss" mode!! LOL Or I hope sop anyway, because I do not want to be Fat for my wedding!! UGH!

Well my mom actually was the one that pointed out that I needed to loose a few pounds after I sent her some pictures of when I was trying on wedding dresses. Her comment was that my face was a little too round for the wedding... Once I looked a little closer, I agreed that my cheeks were a little too plumb and there were no real curves in my waist. I'm back at the gym hitting the cardio a little harder but I can't seem to limit my eating. I love pizza!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
