So, she has a reservation at the hotel, right? I've got $5 that says there's no plane ticket and she's just got the res to mess with you and set it up so that you'd find out.

Talk to your WC and make sure she knows that there's a potential problem - make sure the psycho doesn't have a room overlooking the wedding or reception sites (just to be sure), and go from there.

My best guess is that she cancels the res right before the deadline.

THAT IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Who does that? Seriously.

People do crazy things when they are upset. She clearly felt she needed to get back at you. Which is immature. Even if she doesn't do anything at your wedding, she knows that just by going there it will upset you.

Stacey, I'm so sorry she's putting you through this.

I say ignore her completely. Don't give her the satisfaction of knowing she upset you.

Kill her with kindness if you run into her at the resort. If she does try to do something, she will definietly look like she is in the wrong (which she is), I think it was mentioned before, but I would tell the WC to tell security to keep her away from your ceremony and reception.

Listen, Just relax.
The onlything she is doing is making a complete ASS out of herself, just for showing up there!
I'm not sure how many people you have coming, but I would be sure to let them know what the deal is and ask them to keep a lookout for you on your day.
If you see her in the resort...Ignore her, but don't let it show that it bothers you that she's there...Act like she is just another stranger in the resort.
If & Only IF she comes up to you and says something that makes you think she will try something on your day...Take her aside and tell her, that if she so much as comes near you on your day..You'll make sure to call the Mexican Police..and everyone knows..the last thing you want to do in Mexico is get into it with the police!! LOL
But seriously..Let her know that your not gonna take her shit. This is your day and she is a pathetic loser who needs to grow up!!

Don;'t worry..You'll be fine and please don't let someone like that make you worry like you are. She isn't worth it! :-)

OK hold up - i thought this wacko was having money problems in the first place hence why it was such an issue for her to be there on your special day.

RED FLAGS - why would someone who doesn't particular like you anymore want to stay at the same resort that your wedding is going to be at! PSYCHO!@ OMG I'm in total disbelief. YOU do not deserve to be dealing with this 5 days prior to your wedding.

Someone needs to back off and cancel her trip. That's just ridiculous. I hope someone puts her in her place. And she wouldn't DARE mess with anything.

Wow that sucks! I would try to avoid her if she shows up. Have someone in your group (someone who is no nonsense) deal with her if she starts anything. If gets bad call the Mexican Police as PhillyBride mentioned...they are someone you do not mess with.

Just try to enjoy your day and forget about her. She is probably jealous and is only going to make an ass out of herself.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
