Anyone know anything about Bellefield Great House in MoBay?

I have long wanted to get married at this beautiful Great House in MoBay but the property has been closed since May when it changed owners, and they are scheduled to re-open Nov 1st.....or so they say s-=ince it was supposed to re-open in July.

 

My wedding is in January and I've been trying to reach someone, anyone at Bellefield to discuss the details since getting engaged 2 months ago with no luck till now, and only when my FI used his contacts in JA to get the owner to finally respond to our phone calls, emails, and cries for help!! LOL In the meantime, I narrowed down my alternatives to The Ruins in Ochi trying to get that outdoor setting, but it isn't the quite the same and while it's pretty and more affordable, it's not Bellefield nor is it as convenient as MoBay is to my out of town guests. Ochi is also my least favorite place in JA, but I can definitely make it work, don't get me wrong.

 

So now I'm negotiating with Bellefield and find they're nearly double the price as The Ruins will be, and wondering why I'm giving this place so many chances to come thru for us.

 

Does anyone know anything about Bellefield and can tell me if it's worth the wait?? I only know of 1 person married there several years ago under the previous owners....does anyone know anything about present-day Bellefield?? Any feedback is much appreciated!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
