Hi bgirls, i have just signed my wedding contract w/ Vallarta Palace for 8-8-09. My confirmation letter stated that my WC would contact me 30 days prior to the wedding to finish all the details. 30 days?!!!!!! has anyone run into this problem? If so is there any way around it?

I am pretty sure that this is standard...from what I hear at the resorts anyway. I think that because there are so many weddings going on there all of the time they try to just get the ones handled that are close in date. Don't worry I am sure it will be fine.. really would you want to discuss the details earlier? then there would be the risk of them completley forgetting!

i just signed today too! i was a bit disturbed with the 30 days because i was verbally quoted 3 months by my wedding sales coordinator. this is actually one of the 20 questions i am asking my coordnator tomorrow.

 

i read the contract for 30 minutes and i want to extra clear on things.

 

there's a stipulation on teh contract that states all correspondence between Palace Resorts and you become null and void when you sign the contract.

 

i want to make sure everything my sales coordinator and i agreed on is refkected on the signed contract.

I just got back from our wedding at the Vallarta Palace adn I found that I didn't proactively hear from my WC until about 30 days before, but it all worked out. Prior to that, I got her contact info about 6 months before and would just email her questions

Hey ladies, I just wanted to give you an update. Last week i got a email from our wc @ the palace resort. She has sent me menu lists asked about our colors and has answered all my emails within 15mins of me sending them. Our wedding is still 10 months away!! I just have to say she has made me feel a lot more comfortable with the whole thing. She is honest and very helpful!! so all of you worried out there keep your head up. ill keep you posted.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
