I'm looking on weather.com and it looks like it's going North-North West, unfortunately it went up one category, so.... 4... Yikes!!!!!!... It's supposed to start turning North tomorrow... Still, don't worry, you'll be able to say I Do.

Just make sure to say it WAY out loud, 'cause the winds gonna blow hard...LOL... Really, don't worry too much about it, you're gonna have a lovely, windy wedding...

Margaritas any onehuh.gif.. We'll be working that day, how cool is that?

Cheers

Hello everyone! The latest update as of Wednesday, October 8th, 2008 10:00pm Cabo Time.....It is a Cat 4 Hurricane with very strong winds and quite some rain... But luckily for all Cabo Brides.... It is slightly turning away from Los Cabos.... Just enough to avoid all damages... Nevertheless this things are not over until the "fat lady sings" right?

Please check out this site I just put together so everyone is properly updated on this phenomenon... Good luck to all!

Hi Everyone

I am getting married on Oct 20th at Dreams Los Cabos. Let's at least all be thankful we are not down there right now...I think there are a few brides that are getting married at Dreams on the 12,13 time frame. I hate to even say this as I too am freaking out but my friend just told me there is a second storm, I think it is Odelia or something like that is brewing too. I emailed Juan Carlos who is my photographer to give me an update as I know he is down there doing some other weddings.

I have been following both of these storms; Hurricane Norbert and Tropical Storm Odile. I have been here for 9 years and through a few hurricanes and what I know is that I don't know. You never really know where and how it will land until it is approx. 48 hours away from you. That is when all the models tend to get accurate. For those of you with weddings this weekend (Oct. 10.11.12) follow Norbert. For those of you with weddings next week keep your eye on Odile.

I have found that WunderGround and specifically this link is the best source of reliable information.

My fingers and crossed that they both pass with minimum effect.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
