Well i m not to sure about doing the garter toss and flower bouquet. Well i know that when i was younger i always looked foward to they day i get to do it but now that its my turn i don't feel i would be able to do it. Since we are having a destination wedding we are only having close friends and family members attending who happend to be all couples so wouldn't have any single woman or men trying to fight to see who catches either one. So i thought of just doing with out it or i thought that we can just call out my future sister in-law and brother-in law out to the floor and hand the flowers and garter over to them since they are the next to get married which would be next year Aug 09 and have them dance a song together. Do you guys have any other ideas or what do you think of my idea?

I think that's a great idea. That's actually what I'll be doing... at this point its a tradition within my circle of friends.

My best friend got the bouquet passed to her when her FI (at the time) was the best man at a wedding, at their wedding this summer she past me the bouquet and they planned that my FI catch the garter, I will be passing the bouquet on to my FI's friend who will be a grooms-maid (not sure what the proper terminology is for that) in our wedding

I was at a wedding where the bride's bouquet was given to the female guest who had been married the longest. There was no garter toss done. I am in the same boat too, no single people at our wedding, I am the last single gal of my friends to get married. I am not even sure I am getting a garter.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
