Calia, have you been able to go to the doctor to try to get some answers? I think you mentioned it was an insurance issue before?

I have been many times. :) The first time they told me I had POF. But since then I have been told it was a misdiagnosis and I have "unexplained infertility". Pretty much means they don't know what the hell is wrong with me. And yes, fertility specialists are a little more than I can pay at the moment. So I'm stuck. B/c the next step I think are more risky treatments. Blah.

Did you try seeing a naturopath ? Because if MD can't help, maybe a ND could ? (at least it wouldn't hurt)

Sorry Ayita it was not your month!! Glad you are able to get in and see the doctor.

Calia I was really hoping you would have been prego by now. We have been trying officially 1 year yesterday so I can only imagine how hard it has been on you guys. Sending you lots of baby vibes!!!

I also highly recommend acupuncture. I have been going for 5 months when I temped I saw a big difference my temps were really up and down and they got more steady. I am very excited I just found a new acupuncturist and they really only specialize in fertility and they have a very high success rate so I start with them next week and even better they are cheaper then my previous place jackpot!!

As for me I did not get preg our first IUI cycle, but they said I responded very well to the meds so we are starting our 2nd round today. Looks like my IUI will be on bday! Hopefully this will be our lucky month!

Good luck with the new acu, Jen! I didn't realize you weren't seeing one that specialized in fertility already. Mine is and she said peopls are usually pregnant within 3 months of starting treatment and I'm just about finishing my third month. I really hope it doesn't take too much longer!

The lady I was seeing did specialize in infertility along with a lot of other issues I first started acupuncture for my neck pain. The new one they have 1 lady and all she does in infertility and she works with a lot of IUI and IVF patients. She is about 30 min away from as opposed to the other one that was 5 min but I think it will be worth it well I hope it is!!!

Oh yeah my first acup told me 3 months also now she says give her 6 then I am sure it will be give me 9 months. I just don't like her now if you cant tell!!! If the other women tells me 3 months I will probably believe her lol!!

It sounds like I should try acupuncture then. My temps are all over the place - it can vary from 97 to 96 then back to 97 between one day and the other. It's very weird. I already noticed that if I have a drink, my temp will skyrocket the next morning. The other variations I'm unable to understand. I have to make an average in order to be able to determine the drop and high that will determine my ovulation...

Did the acupuncture did any good to your neck pain ? Because I have that, too...

Ayita, do you track your cycle online? Ovulation Calendar and Ovulation Chart - Fertility Charting is what alot of us use to track (even though I gave up temping) everything and if you are temping, it will determine your O, 3 days after you O. But taht will give you an idea of what your cycle will look like next month so you don't have to do any manually calculations. Right now, I use it to track when I should get AF and I use OPK's to predict ovulation since I stopped temping.

I chart but I use excel. It gives me a lot of flexibility (I can easily convert my temps from C to F, make comparisons wit prior months, etc)
