Any TTCer's out there?

I went of BCP well over a year ago when FH (at the time) went to Iraq. I still have some flare-ups from time to time but nothing too major. I had HORRIBLE skin growing up. I hope once I get a BFP that I don't have too much acne during pregnancy.

We used different kinds of protection for a few months and now use none.
I'm sort of glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I seriously can't believe how bad my skin has been... I'm hoping it will settle down, or I may go to the dermatologist. It sucks, because with age I've started getting really dry in my T-zone, but I'm also breaking out, so mosturizer seems like a bad call. Very frustrating!

Like - I haven't had breakouts like this since I was a teenager! Its crazy. Anyone else noticed this?
we're not ttc yet, but i have gone off of bc - and jenn - i was a disaster for the first month. i feel more like myself now, tho, and almost feel like there was a cloud around me that has finally dissapated. i was on for 12 years. my skin is now worse than ever. i never had bad breakouts, but i ALWAYS have red spots now. i'm thinking about a dermo visit too.

I should've started a thread or blog or something my first month off... I was seriously crazy. My poor DH really took the brunt of it... I quit smoking cold turkey a week or so after going off the pill, which totally compounded things. Seriously, I think I was bordering on Linda Blair ala The Exorcist that month - lol.

I'm not TTC but I am also stopping the BCP. Now I'm a little scared hearing all the side effects.

I am sure I will get bad break outs since my skin is prone to break outs. I am stopping the pill cause I have been on it for 9 years. I have family history of high cholesterol and the doctor suggested I stop taking the BCP to lower cholesterol.

Ok, I have another question for you guys....

I went to that fertilityfriend site and put in my last three periods. It showed me when my estimated most fertile days are..... IF that were correct are those the only days I can get pregnant? Or are those just the days it is most likely to happen? I know I should take my temp and all that but just say that it is correct with its prediction.....

My derm gave me a facewash and a liquid to rub on my face after it's washed. Within two weeks it was cleared up. Thank goodness because I decided to do all this like a month before my wedding... silly me. He also put me on an antibiotic but I am now off of that. I still have tiny flare ups but nothing crazy bad like it was before.

Without temping and checking CM those are the days based on your cycle length that you are most likely to be ovulating and therefore most likely to get pregnant. Cycle length is a good predictor of ovulation, so it should be fairly accurate if you are regular...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
