Yeah, I was going to say I read 3 hours.  The thing I find hard is that if you get up at 5am during the week for work, you can test and 3 hours +/- 5am every day.  So 2am to 8am.  But what about on the weekends when you want to sleep in?  I have to wake up early to take my pee test?  That's kinda annoying.  This weekend it worked for me since I happened to be up early, but I'm thinking I'm going to have a problem with that part.

Yeah, I know...having to get up early just to pee sucks...

But I do think you have to keep doing it on weekends to be consistent...

From what I've read, I think most people set their alarm, pee and then go back to sleep. Or try to anyway:-)

And of course, I now have yet ANOTHER pee question...

This is for the digital fertility monitor in particular...Do you have to test at the exact same time every day...OR is it okay as long as it's within the "window"...?

That's what I thought -- I just wanted to make sure I was reading it properly:-)

Some of the instructions I've had to read a few times to make sure I got it right, lol:-)

Yeah me too!  I hope it's worth it for all of us!  I just hate wasting so many test sticks.  I have never O'd before CD18 before, but they are making me test from day 6 on for the first cycle, so that's at least 12 wasted tests.  Oh well, maybe we'll find out I'm fertile alot earlier?

  • 4 weeks later...

Hello, I hope everybody is doing well and that their projects are moving forward !

I wanted to share some good news as this week marks an important milestone for me as I reach 13 weeks on Thursday. Yes it's the end of my first trimester and now the risks of miscarriage are in majority behind me !! So happy smile159.gifToday I went for my first trimester screening and the baby was moving so much it was hard to measure the nuchal translucency ! We saw all his hands and feet and fingers it was awesome :)

Next big step is the results of the screening... and maybe the amniocentesis... and then opening the baby registry lol !

Good luck to all !

Congrats Ayita! That is certainly a milestone, and a huge relief I'm sure!

Carly - I am sure that you and your hubby will make the best decision for you as a couple and as a family.  A year without success must be difficult, and I hope that this time of reflection allows you both the time needed to help you determine the next step.

We are still at the beginning of our journey, but I am currently on CD43 and starting to get anxious.  I POAS on Saturaday to reveal a big fat BFN.  So I'm sitting here waiting for AF to arrive but no luck.  I was sure she was on her way a week ago with all the symptoms I was having last Tuesday - bloating, irritability, chocolate craving, anxiety - but she is still a no show.  So I'm sitting here waiting.... anyone else have crazy long cycles after going off the Pill?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
