Do you ever feel kind of sad or lonely after you finish a really great book?

I just finished an awesome book - "The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets" by Eva Rice. It's the kind of book that makes you wanna retire early to a bubble bath and candle light and read as much or as little as you please... but at least enough to entice yourself into their world for a little while.

I just finished it this morning, and am finding myself missing the characters (as I often do after a good book). I have about 4 others waiting for me that I picked out from Half-Price Books at the same time as this one, but I almost feel like I need to let everything soak in before I move on... kinda like leaving one relationship for another - need some time to recoup and revel in it for a bit.

Funny this is, when I bought the 5 books, I told myself that I would pick out the one I thought I would like the least and read that one first. Turns out this is one of my favorite books that I've read thus far! wink.gif Funny how that works out sometimes.

Definitely a random thought...

I love the way one of my friends explains it. She says that it's like you have a bunch of really good friends waiting for you when you get home! I totally feel that way about a great book. And when you are done it's like, wait a minute, where are my friends, how are they doing, I miss them?!

I always think that's the sign of a really great book.
That is definitely how I feel!!! Like where did my friends go...? sad.gif Did Penelope ever get with Harry?? Did her Mom and Rocky ever get together...?? And what about Charlotte - oh Charlotte! lol I miss them. Thanks for putting it into words for me...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
