Hmmmm, I think your hair should be UP and you should wear a veil! The pic of you with your hair up, you just look so beautiful and like a bride! And a veil cuz I originally didn't want one, but felt so much more "real" with one. When else can you wear a veil??

 

I am not really crazy about the veil that you were wearing though, is that for sure the one you want? I think it it ending at the same spot where all the detail is in the dress (mid-chestal area), it just wasn't the best length...

 

I love the pic that I included below of you, with your hair up, you look like a bride, and you can def see definition in your waist.

 

Will you be getting this dress fitted at all? Perhaps if you are, that might hlep whatever your mom thinks is boxy aobut it. Although, have to say again, I disagree with her.

I am so sorry your mom disagreed with you. Not very tactfully either. Kinda sounds like my mom. I think that dress is super flattering and not sure where she sees "boxy" at all.

Thanks for your opinion on my wedding look Carly, my mom really has me second guessing myself, I'm pretty disapointed by it all. In that pic you posted, I feel like I look like a bride there too and that it is really flattering in that particular pic. I can try a few more to satisfy her curiosity but I don't know what else to say to her. I'm pretty hurt that she doesn't think I look as good as I think I do. I'm currently trying to convince her to come down this saturday to see the dress in person, maybe that will help her. I am definitely having some alterations made if I get this one, the bust needs to be altered a bit as it's too loose, etc.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
