I agree Savannah! I just wanted to slap Jacob most of the time!

I do like Edward but unlike you I was angry with him for leaving, regardless of the reason. I was even more angry at Bella for forgiving him so easy. If that were me I would have made him sweat it for a while- beg and plead and cry! wink.gif

OMG im 100% on Team Edward - sorry but Jacob really irked me. I mean i get it but i just felt like he was getting in the way of Edward and Bella's love - and i was so annoyed at Bella for not telling him to STFU!! At least at the end he had happy ending but wow I did NOT see the imprinting with Renesme coming at ALL!!

Savannah - i LOLed at your last comment haha she is SO not into him

The only thing with making him sweat and cry is that he is absolutely gorgeous and loves her more than anything, so much so that he wanted to leave her so that she wouldnt get hurt again... i dont think i was really mad at Edward for leaving, just more annoyed because i wanted him to be there and i never expected that to happen.... All in all i love Edward and really got annoyed by Jacob and his forcing himself upon Bella... Obviously the books were made to centre around Bella and Edward's undying love.. so Jacob unfortunately just doesnt get the slice... but Renesmee when she comes.. is perfect for Jacob.. I dont get the whole Jacob fan thing.. but I guess that's just me.. dont get me wrong he is a good friend.. but nothing more.. like Bella said a million times.. a "brother" :)

To each his/her own...but I cannot fathom, under any possible circumstance ever thinking Rob Pattinson was ugly. I just...can't. Its more than my mind can conceive of. lol

I don't get the Edward hostility. I totally understood his point of view and thought it ws the most loving sacrifice I'd ever read. Especially after reading Midnight Sun and getting a really good look at just how much this girl meant to him. The love and strength it would take to leave ....wow. She seriously was his reason for existing, and he had NO life without her, yet stayed away because he thought it was saving her. That's righteous and forgiveable to me.

As far as her taking him back so quick...c'mon. A.) he's the perfect man who treated this plain Jane like gold and B.) after all the crap with Victoria still hunting her, Laurent trying to eat her and seeing Jasper and the rest of the family who actually LOVED her but still wanted to eat her over a paper cut...yea, she had to see why he felt the only way to save her was to leave her. He was motivated by love, and that scores points with me even when that motivation leads to what could be considered questionable judgement. And if its the love of your life who it nearly killed you to lose and you've been walking around half dead for the past 8 months...yea, you're probably going to forgive his ass as soon as you clap eyes on him again. lol

True True Savannah! Although I know I would take him back, I mean Hello! Duh! I just hoped that Bella would have had a little more self-worth. What I mean is that since she was so devestated and heartbroken I would have hoped she would have not been so quick about forgiving him so instantly. Hold out just a little to make him see that he can't just fix everything by reappearing and act like it was nothing what he did to her. I understand the reason he did it and all that, but I guess dispite all his reasons, I think it would be worse to make someone hurt like that.

I do still need to read what is out there for Midnight sun though, maybe I'll feel differently about it then. Either way, I still love Edward and Jacob just annoys me! LOL.

But, he didnt show up, Bella went to him to save him because he thought she was dead... and if she was dead than he had no reason for living and that is why he was going to step out in daylight so that the Volturi would kill him!.. Im not saying that by sacrificing his love to leave her was kinda sucky but he was doing it in her best interest not his... so I dont know.. I think he is way to perfect to not forgive... :P

Here is the way I phrased it to my MOH about the whole Edward sucked for hurting her.

In his mind..as someone who TRULY loved another person more than himself? What's better; hurt, or dead?

The guy honestly, truly believed she would move on over time. He didn't understand that her tie to him was as strong as his was to her. He thought...she's human, time heals all for her kind, just like he told her when he left.

His fear wasn't the danger she was in...it was that her participation in his life would end up getting her killed. That makes it very easy for me to forgive him and I think Meyer did a good job of...highlighting that Bella did get that and understand. As soon as the light bulb came on and she realized he lied, she knew the reason and couldn't hold it against him. There was no reason to make him suffer. It would have, essentially, been punishing someone for loving you enough to want to save your life.

I agree that Edward did what he thought was best fo Bella, but he did leave her unprotected with the 2 nomads still around...maybe he thought they weren't a threat though...I am still 100% team Edward, but I like Jacob too. I was annoyed with him AND Bella in the 2nd book. I thought Jacob was a bit manipulative with Bella even after she told him she only wanted to be friends, but I also thought Bella was leading him on a bit, she knew he had feelings for her.

At first I thought Jacob was going to imprint on the girl wolf, but as soon as Bella was preggers, I knew he'd imprint on the baby, especially after he was saying someone in his pack imprinted on a child...I know it is not supposed to be sexual or anything until they are grown up, but I still find it a little creepy.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
