I might my fiance on Match.com, at one point in my life I said the only place I didn't want to meet my future husband was online.  Luckily I got passed that!

Quest.com here lol  Almost 13 years and counting! We talked for nearly a month online before we actually met. Then we met in a very public restaurant just to be safe. We talked so much we closed the place... and it was a work night!! The rest followed pretty quick after that. We're a lot older and it was second time around for both of us. We moved in together after 9 months and had no ideas about getting married at all. In fact, neither one of us wanted to again. But some health scares and ex complications changed that. So after 10 years together we got married on the beach in Jamaica, nearly 3 years ago. If things go the way we hope, we'll renew our vows in Mexico next year on our anniversary.

I firmly believe you can meet someone online as long as you follow the rules and are really careful. We haven't had any issues with telling anyone that we met online.

I did - Plenty of Fish!  I actually almost didn't go on the date - I was so tired of these meet and greets with guys I struggled to keep a convo up with.  I actually almost did a drive by the doors to see what he looked like and decide whether to go in or not!

Well I did - and we wound up talking for about 6 hours over only one beer (our waitress HATED us).  And its only been him since.  Even with him shaking my hand when we meant and a bit of an over-eager first kiss a few days later on our first 'real' date.

Online dating is a pain in the you know what - most of the time its a waste, frustrating and depressing.  But if you have patience, you never know what could happen!

I have a similar story!

Was eharmony though.. I was so over it, and I wasn't sure I was attracted by the pictures.

I went REALLY slow, to the point he still bugs me saying I rejected his first kiss - it's a wonder he kept trying.

He was like no other I ever dated, so refreshing!

I dated some doozies (gamblers with huge debt, alcoholics, men who always cancelled) yuck!  it was so nice when things actually progressed because of HIM wanting them to, not me being frustrated.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
