Did you meet your fiance online?

Recommended Posts

Me and my fiancé also met on plentyoffish.com we talked for a bit on there but quickly moved it to Facebook. Once on Facebook I found out he was best friends (more like brothers) with a guy I used to work with named chad. When I thought back about it I can remember chad telling many stories that began with 'my friend Jon....' Anyways out first time meeting was actually going to party out at chads cabin. We moved in together a year later and will be married in May! Lol but sssshhhhhh as most of our friends and family think we just met through chad lol

Met my fiancé on eHarmony and it was just meant to be! He meant to cancel his membership after a few months with no success and it automatically renewed and we got in contact the next day!  I still can't believe that I got so lucky as to find this amazing man :)

I met my fiance on yahoo messenger after a few of my friends use to speak to his friends through yahoo when we were younger. All I did was ask who he was and we were hooked. We could not stop talking.. chatting back and forth; mainly because we both needed a friend to be there and who better than someone you will never really meet right? well WRONG. we became like the best of friends and after chatting, texts, and phone conversations, we met 3 months later on Christmas day 2008.  We quickly started dating (since we knew so much about each other) and almost four years later, he proposed! October 6th, 2012 will forever be one of my favorite days!

We are getting married June 28, 2014

Yup, met my FI on Match 3 years ago. He’s not big on about telling a lot of people that we met online, but I love telling people, might as well share the good news and show others the magic of online dating!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
