hey trisha, i totally feel for you and the brides so close to their dates. i feel your frustration and i will pray sooooo hard for all of us!!! i know its easy to say but please dont stress im sure this will all work out!! thank god we have this forum to keep informed and also sometimes to vent out our frustrations!!

I am totally at a loss for words! I feel so bad for all you, especially the one that are getting married in the next week.

I too talked to my TA today and she had no idea. She called her contact a DREAMS and she told her that they should know more by the end of the day today or first thing tomorrow morning.

 

My stomach is still in my throat and of course I too did not sleep last night thinking of all of you getting married in the next couple of days and weeks.

 

My FI keeps telling me that January is still along way off and that we will be fine, but there is still that thought in the back of my head, that things won't be.

 

I am opening a bottle of wine and toasting all of the DT brides that are currently stressed out! Cheers Ladies! Hang in there we are all going to be alright! shots.gif

Just wanted to say that I am so sorry you are all going through this. Truly I am. I can imagine that all of the work you have put in to planning your wedding, and then to find out plans have changed last minute is soooo stressful and frustrating. I know I would be freaking out. But you (especially those with weddings in the next 2 weeks) seem to be keeping it together and I am wishing you all the best and know that you wedding will be amazing no matter what! It may not have been what you planned out, but it will still be fantastic!!!

 

I don't think your guests will mind, they are still going to be staying at a beautiful resort and participating in your big day. So don't worry about them!

Hi ladies,

 

In order to help out the brides being moved to Dreams Cancun who have very little time to research info about this resort, I did a quick search and pulled up a quick list of reviews, pics and site visits in case you want to do some reading. I only did a quick search (honestly, only took like 15 mins) so this is by no means an exhaustive list, but at least a starting point, along with of course the huge Dreams Cancun thread. Should I be worried that my TA has no clue about this? Thankfully our photographer sent me an email! I can't believe Landy has not notified anyone!!

 

I am sure Dreams Cancun will do a great job - your weddings are going to be amazing. And what a fun story to tell your grandkids!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
