Dreams Tulum Closure (consolidated thread)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I don't know much about this but my friend's wedding (who is a member on BDW) was relocated to the Paradisus at no extra charge to her guests. Even if they purchased through Expedia, Orbitz, or through their travel agent. So I think there is hope. Her wedding was for Nov. 1, 2008.

Hopefully the DT will relocate people, although I have to be honest I don't see them opening up anytime soon. But I am an eternal optimist so I am keeping my fingers crossed for all the DT brides. Let's pray things work out for everyone.

i have to reiturate that dreams has not dropped the ball on this...we need to trust them that they have their clients interest in heart. they truly want you all to have the wedding of your dreams but they are making decisions as they get information so it is a slow process.

stay strong, vent here...know that your wedding will be perfect.

Hey ladies,

Thanks for your kind words. I think breaking the news to my mother just got to me since she managed to say all the wrong things. I know it will all turn out in the end. I just want to be told now where I'm getting married but I guess I won't get my instant gratification. Thats life!

Oh yeah! for sure!

Here's her reply...

"We are waiting this week to have some news, at this momento we are just relocated the arrivals until ocotber 31st, so we would let you know if you need to be relocated or not, so we are hoping the results from the laws.

Kind regards"

Not sure if it helps or not...?

Joann :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
