I am having my wedding in disney. Its something I have always wanted since I was a child. However even though we are having a disney wedding we aren't really scaling back the numbers so planning it is a little overwhelming.

Does anyone have suggestion on things I need to make sure I do early?

I just wanted to say how awesome it is that you are planning a Disney wedding! I saw one on TV once and it really was magical. That is just so amazing!
Otherwise, I would send Save the Dates ASAP so people can start to plan! :)

What a great place, i think every girl dreams of her wedding when she was little none the less at Disney. Too cool! Have you picked a resort to accommodate you and all your guests? Good luck with planning. I know it's a little overwhelming but it will be worth it in the end!

That sounds like fun. I agree with Abbie, start with the save your dates. It will really set the tone for your dream Disney wedding and start getting your guests in the mood.

I can imagine so many fun ideas incorporating Disney!

We actually considered a Disney wedding and I went down and met with the WC to go through all the options, prices etc. Make sure you reserve your date early - things book up.

If you have any questions let me know!

When considering your photographer, I understand now that Disney does not allow (as of some date last month I think) non-Disney photographer for events *in the park(s)*. Weddings at the resorts or wedding pavilion are ok, but I just lost a cool ceremony at China in Epcot because of that (and I was about to have two in Disney the same week - my kids were psyched!).

I just thought of something else; being that your wedding is during the Christmas season I would recommend blocking off some rooms for your guests. That is one of the busiest times to go so best to be prepared.
