Ha ha, funny you mention the sand dollar! Everyone loved them! They all took them up to their rooms when dinner was finished and took them home! Everyone was shocked I was able to write on them and they all said it was a great idea! I'm glad I ended up writing on them myself, it was a lot more personal that way and everyone seemed touched by that.

Thanks! You looked beautiful too! RIU Las Americas upgraded us to a larger suite (that's part of their wedding package) and our room had a walk-in closet (plus a huge bathroom and two living rooms). I was changing in that closet so the photog wouldn't see me naked!!

Ha ha, I figured you might like this dress msnwink.gif I got my flower from the same place I got my bouquet. I guess she just got banned from this forum, so I'm not sure if I can say her name/business?! Any way, I asked if she can send me an extra orchid, so it's just the flower and stem (no hairclip attached). I loved it and it looked so real!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
