Please help me find wedding bands!

Recommended Posts

Hi Girls!

Okay, now that I am planning a wedding for May 31, 2007...I need help finding wedding bands for Fi and I. Here is the dilmema: my ER is a 3 stone Tacori style (antique like setting) and I can't find a wedding band that is set high enough that will match my ring. I got an eternity band (promise ring) from FI a few years ago that looks perfect with my ER but I do not want to use it as WB nor do I want to get the same style. I will post a pic of my ER later.

Okay on to FI's ring...FI is a police sargeant that can't/doesn't want to wear a ring when he is working (apparently there is a graphic photo at the station that says do not wear rings). So he will wear a ring when he is not working so I really do not want to spend alot of $. I was thinking of getting a cool masculine titanium ring. Any ideas?

Thanks!

~Denise

It's hard to say what will go with your ring without a picture, can you find one online that looks like it?

I got Cain a Tungsten ring, he likes it because it won't scratch and is a darker metal. AND the best part is that they are usually betweet 2-5 hundred dollars.

i know most people will hate this but my FI wanted a silver ring- in Texas there is an amazing store called James Avery that makes quality silver rings- his cost about $65- i felt really bad because it was so cheap but we tried on platinum and titanium and he liked this best- its a nice ring for a good price!

Titanium is also an option. We saw some when looking at the local mall jewelers. It is nice for men and some are available in darker colors and it is also not a super expensive metal. It's also a pretty lightweight metal so since he wouldn't be wearing it all the time and getting use to a ring, when he did put it on it probably would feel less awkward and heavy on his finger. Here's some from online Titanium Rings Studio - Titanium Rings - Titanium Rings Studio

I LOVE your ring, I love the antique look! I want a wedding band with the antique look, but I'm afraid it will look funny with my er because its a plain band.

what about white gold, a lot of the mens rings I've looked at have been 600 or less, most less. I'm not sure what you want to spend, but that might be a reasonable option.

Hey Jill!

Thanks! I wanted a tacori ring but since they are designer...we went to the Jewelers Building in downtown boston and had them design my ER.

Is your ring a classic soliatare (sp)? I love the mixing of different settings. What if you got a band like this:

The rings are anique like with alternating shapes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
