haha Erin too funny.

For Alcide- I picture Hugh Jackman. He has experience playing an "animal" and obviously has that handsome/rugged look about him.

I was totally annoyed that Jason was controlled by Maryann too. I get the need to seperate book from series, but how are they going to explain what Sookie is without it impacting Jason as well? How are they also going to explain why Jason is just so irresistible to all women- well besides his abs and overall hotness. Not to mention that boyish charm he has going for him and cute butt that we haven't seen naked for a lonnnnnnnng time. Ok- nevermind. They don't need to explain Jason's sex appeal!

As for the Bill kidnapping, I wonder if they will bring it into play much earlier why Bill came to Bon Temps. I totally forgot about that turn of events. Shit, I really need reread the books. I forgot all this important crap. I just remember that I don't like Bill, but love Eric. Now I need to remember how I can to that conclusion. haha

I finaly got to watch this last night... thank god for PVR's... and was soooo pumped and then soooo dissapointed. It definately had its moments but I think it could have been much better. I guess we'll have to wait until next season to see if it gets steamier.

Oh and I definately think Lorena or the Queen kidnapped Bill.

another fan, out of the closet. When I first started watching season 1 I wasn't sure what the heck to expect, and wasn't totally sold on it at all. I read the first book in the series but probably won't read the rest, I wasn't a fan of the writing style. I'll just try to follow along with all the book comments left here wink.gif

Then about three episodes in I just got hooked. But, as much as I love all things vampire, I just LOVE Sam. He's cute and cuddly and loveable. I was thrilled that his character had a bit more air time this year, and that he got to kick Maryanne's ass...she just irked me in every way possible.

Also LOVE Lafayette. He steals the scene whenever he's in one. FYI, the actor who plays him is in The Soloist, and is pretty damn good in that too.

Looking forward to season 3!

Welcome to the club Jenn!

I watched the first season then started reading the books. At first I wasn't a big fan of the writing and I found the books to be a little dated so I took my own creative license with them! But they are easy, fun reads and can help fill the vampire void of the next 63 days!

yah- Charlaine Harris' descriptions of what's hot and cool- not so much. It's almost like she was writing the books in the early 90's or 80's. Her writing isnt that great, but I found it pretty in par with Twilight's Stephanie Meyers. Nothing to write home about, but tells a good, capitivating story!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
