I've heard this series is fantastic! And lets be honest HBO rarely disappoints! I freakin' love Entourage!! I guess i'll have to start at the beginning with True Blood!

So especially after this episode, I really really and starting to not like Bill at all! I didn't really like him before but now I just really don't like him. I heart Eric though, he's the best!

 

I am really tired of the Maryann storyline to btw.

Loved, loved the last episode - things are really starting to heat up! I'm really glad they didn't kill Jason off but I wish he would have shot Steve's wife with the paintball gun... And I love the fact that Eric is smiling more - he's sooooo hot!

We all know I heart Eric I can hardly wait for seasons 3 and 4 where Bill is really on the backburner. However they've changed quite a few things this season so who knows what they will do for the upcoming ones.

 

The black eyes are definitely creepy... I'm ready for the Maryann storyline to be over too. And what they ate? Disgusting. Jayson doesn't get grossed out very easy and he was grossed.. Heh.

I'm number 2 on the library list for book 9! Woot woot!! I should be reading it within a week I think. Can't wait!

Yeah Lisa! I'm so excited for you to read the last book. If you are half the Eric fan that I am, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

 

One thing I love about this show is the subtle details. I laughed so hard I almost peed in my pants when they showed Steve with the big goose egg from the paintball!

 

One thing I do not like are the TOTAL diversions from the books. I hated the end of the episode where they just let Hugo and Isabel go. The book had a lot more poetic justice.

 

I am liking Jessica a lot now. DH was freaking out that they killed Jason, but I told him they wouldn't kill off a major character!

 

I think Maryanne's end is near. I have no idea what the writers will do. I'm like Rachel, I don't know that the writers have actually read the books. I'm sure when Sookie returns something will happen. If there are 4 more episodes, then they have 3 to kill of Maryanne and the last one to introduce the Weres!

Ummm...kinda like the ending for Godfrey? I actually teared up reading about him in the book. I wonder if they are making him a new character or something?

 

I can't remember what happened to Hugo in the book. I read this series too fast I think.

 

That heart scene was disgusting!! I'm not sure where they are going with it, but I kinda wish they would just move on from the Maryanne story line. We get it-she's evil and she wants to sacrifice Sam. They keep showing it over and over like it's shocking.

Yeah, I wonder what they are doing with Godfrey. They've given him a whole different background. He wasn't Eric's Maker or a Sheriff. DH didn't get that. He was like "How can he be 2500 years old and only be a sheriff?? He would be a King!"

 

In the book, Stan was Sheriff. They have protrayed his character well and with the big attitude. He punished both Hugo and Isabelle. He chained them both with naked, with silver, facing each other but on opposite sides of the room. So, the thing they both desired most was in front of them but out of reach.

 

I know I sould like I'm always giving a book report, but Maryanne wasn't chasing Sam in the book! I do like that Eggs is her minon in the show. It does make the story more interesting than him being just a pervy boyfriend.

 

I noticed in the previews that Tara's mom will be in the next episode. I wonder if she will find the b-day present Maryanne threw out in the yard?

August True Blood spoilers

 

It just covers the August episodes, so no ruining the season finale ( Sept 6)if you peek.

 

For casting spoilers...Evan Rachel Wood will play Sophie Anne, and they have cast the part of Hadley, Sookie's cousin who is supposed to make an appearance before the end of the season!

 

Good news is that Season 3 has been ordered. I hate when HBO cancels series right when they get good! The weres will show up but Bubba won't.

Erin you rawk girl!! They are bringing in Sophie Anne and Hadley quickly to the series.. hmm. I wonder how season 3 is going to play out? The stuff with Bill and Lorena seems to already be done.. and that was a big part of book 3.

 

Oh and I'm going to have book 9 tomorrow from the library.. too excited!!!!
