Kitten Heart, where did you order them from and were you able to get all 10? I've only seen the set of 8 and then 9&10 as separate ones!

I was mistaken, it's only 8 books!

OK, just watched the new episode.  I heart True Blood but I'm a little uneasy (? don't know if that is the right word) with this season.  They are SOOOO far off the books and mixing things in from future books and I feel a little lost.  I like the series so much, but I'm afraid they're going a little too far from the original plot and it's going to end up all crazy where everyone is in a time machine or some shit.

I get that they need to add depth to the minor characters but I'm not liking how they have changed some of the characters.  If I remember correctly, Russell was not bat-shit crazy in the books and he for sure didn't have a were-posse led by some guy named Cooter.  I feel like his storyline has gone the way of Maryanne and I think I'm over it.

I am however happy with the more frequent appearances of Eric! And I still want to make out with him for real.  I have heard that season 4 will be the book 4 storyline which means LOTS of Eric!

The Jesus/Lafayette trip kinda freaked me out so I don't know where that will go.  I'm thinking Jesus may be more into the "black arts".  If they stick with the books, Holly is pretty harmless and ends up with Andy (though I think she was a teacher?)  I think it was Tanya? that was a psycho waitress.

Sam is having some major issues! His brother is not right; I bet he will for sure kill and/or be killed by the end of the season. I bet he's stalking Jessica.

And how are there only 2 more episodes?!?!?!?!   I have way more questions now than answers!

I 100% agree with you about this season.  It just gets wackier and wackier and some of it's ok, but some not.  Lafayette's trip, tripped me out too!  I do NOT like what they are doing to Sam and Calvin's characters.

Although I do wonder if this all could be still what happened in the books.  Since the books were only written in Sookie's point of view, they only contained things that she knew or was involved in.  So it can be possible that Russell was that crazy, or Sam was a thief before, and all this other weirdness.

I'm not a fan of Tommy's character either.

I totally agree with you!  I always liked that the show was a little different from the books but I think they have gone too much away from the books this season.   It really bothers me that they have made Calvin so mean - so opposite from the books.  And the whole Sam thing is weird.  I am not sure what to think about Lafayette and the other guy - that whole scene was weird too!  And is Eric really kidnapping Sookie??  I also wish Claudine was more like she was in the books and not in that "fairy land" in the show.

I think in the books, Andy's girlfriend's name was Halleigh and she was a teacher.  Holly was in the books too and was a Wiccan, like she just told Sam in the show.  I don't remember a psycho waitress in the books?? but it's been a while since I read them.

I really really really hope that this is true and season 4 will be like book 4.  That was one of my favourite books in the series and I would hate to see the show stray too far from the plot that FINALLY brings Sookie and Eric together.  Plus any season that focuses more on Eric's character sounds FANTASTIC to me!  Sigh.....sorry got lost picturing Alexander Skarsgard for a second there. :)

How far are they going to go with the "new" storyline/history of Sam's character?  Although its nice to dig deeper into his character, they are losing some of his charm/nice/caring nature...or "dog-like appeal".

Where is Alcide lately?  Debby?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
