Car- I didn't think you gave away any spoilers.  It has shown that she was a shifter of some sort and I forgot about the fox thing.

 

Wow- we are veering away from the books again.  Sooo much craziness.  That sex scene at the end surprised me, but it kinda brought back all the edginess in that regard from season 1.  I'll never forget that opening show with Jason and the waitress that ended up murdered.  I was like "WHOA- what is this insanity?"  After season 1, I bought the books and was delighted to find out that season 1= book 1 so I had plenty to read and have new.

 

What the heck is going to happen with Erik now?

I have read the books and part of me wants the show to be more like the books but I also really like that they are changing it up so that I don't know what's going to happen next!  

 

So, I can understand Fulton being a jerk and them "updating" his character.  What I am confused about though, is the other guy. In the books, Calvin is Crystal's uncle and in the show, the other guy told Sam or Jason (I don't remember who) that he was Crystal's father.  So, is that guy Calvin and they are changing his relationship to Crystal or is this a totally new character and we haven't met Calvin yet?  Wow - sorry about the long winded question :)

 

And just as a funny note...do any of you watch So you think you can dance?  My husband thinks that Tyce DiOrio looks like Talbot and I agree - he really does!  Ha!

Laura- funny you mention that.  My hubby said the exact same thing- he was like "he's Tasty Oreo".

 

Car- True Blood's first episode pretty much started with Jason humping the waitress that was also a fang banger.  He ended up watching that tape of her doing the vampire too.  Dawn I think?

I watched the credits at the end of the show, b/c I was thinking the same thing....but apparently that's Calvin. Not sure that I like what they've done with his character!

ok im jumping on the TB thread bandwagon :) just started watching 2 episodes ago.

 

ive read all the books but the most recent one, so its a bit easier to jump in to watching the show and not watching the old ones first. but from just these last 2 shows they sure do like changing shit up! :)

Rachel I think it was Maudette Pickens first...Right...then Dawn I think that was the orer!

I definitely don't like that character for Calvin. I was researching online and that definitely is Calvin and they are making Crystal his daughter.  I wonder why they are making them all meth addicts too?  I really liked Calvin the way he was in the books.  

 

Oh, also...I was kind of excited to see Holly - it should be interesting to see what they do with her story!  I won't say any more about that because I don't want to spoil things for anybody who hasn't gotten that far in the books :)

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
