@ Rachel - Go back and read Book 3! LOL It gets good!

Although this season is mixing parts of the other books in with it as well. It's not exact, but in a round about way, this season followed the book pretty close (with the exception of the new characters that aren't in the book, of course! lol)

I agree about Jesus & Lafayette, but i don't honestly know why they still have Lafayette around anyway. That is a pointless story, but Jesus is Hot (& reminds me of Jonathan Rhys Meyers) so I don't mind.

My husband whines the whole time they show them too, I'm like get over it!

I liked him in past seasons too Carly, but this season it's like he doesn't really get to shine as much with his lame storyline. It's almost like they have so many characters and storylines going on that everyone only gets a little piece of the action. Not complaining though- I think this season (other than the first) is one of the best seasons. So out of 3 seasons, it's top 2. LOL

i can't figure out multi-quote (can't seem to delete sections of quoted material anymore?) so i'm just gonna try to remember what i wanted to say, lol. sorry i've been without internet for a couple weeks, so the forum updates are still brand-spanking-new to me!

i only brought the first 3 books with me on vacation ... had no idea i was gonna blow through them like i did, haha! bet i could have read the whole set in under a week. it's really interesting to see the differences between the books and the show. like tara is a white-girl-nobody who sookie just happened to go to h.s. with, lol! and lafayette was out of the picture really early on. and that whole maenad storyline ... omg it was like maybe a chapter and they let it drag on for an entire season! so anyway, i came home from vacay and had to immediately sit down and watch the two episodes i missed! they were AWESOME!

i have to admit, the tara biting franklin scene was cheesy and gory for the sake of being gory. (rach, loved the quentin tarantino comment, lol!) but i'm sad franklin's gone bc he was hilar. i do love that it seems we are getting the "old tara" back, haha! she's back to telling people they're f*cking stupid! woot.gif

and i agree with you girls, while the whole gay-love storyline with lafayette and jesus doesn't bother me for it's gayness, i'm failing to see the point of it in the grand scheme of things. seems like they're just doing it to throw something else controversial in there. i AM bothered by eric making comments/gestures with homosexual undertones tho, but that's just because i lust love him!

oh, and i died laughing when the king's plaything (i forget his name) yelled, "you never take me anywhere!" and stomped off like a 3yr old!!!

Cougs, when you do the MQ, try scrolling down to the screen a bit.  For some reason, it shows all of the info you are quoting at the top, but you cant' edit it.  Then you scroll down and you can put your comments in there, or delete stuff.  I usually MQ and then delete all data that isn't in reference to my reply, so I know it can be done!

I giggled at Talbot (i think that's his name) when he stomped off too!  Funny stuff.

I agree with everything you girls have said... Layfayette's plotline seems like it's not going anywhere and I LOVE him, I especially love when he get's all crazy wanting to be the s*** out of the hicks!

I was surprised the Tara killed Franklin... he was super funny with his dramatics and his CRAZINESS!

What's with this whole Sookie won't rest until she get's Bill, nearly dies for him and then he saves her after almost killing her and she screams and now doesn't want to be with him? DRAMATIC. Jeez ;)

What's with this chick Megan? or whatever her name is that Jason's obsessed with?

The Eric plot I think is going a lot deeper than flirting with the King, I can't believe how much progression happens between episodes, best season yet! I really need to buy the books...

the girl jason is obsessed with is crystal, not megan. no idea what's up.

i agree that eric flirting with the king is all simply a means to an end. he's trying to get to the bottom of the whole operation werewolf thing and finally avenge his father's death. i don't for one minute think he's enamored of the king or his power, but i still hate to see it. i want more eric sex dreams please!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
