Does anyone watch TrueBlood?

I hated the Head Spin. So dumb and it just looks weird.

J thought he killed her..LOL I was like, Um didn't you hear her speak at the end? He just didn't want to look at her...hahahhaha

However, I guess they wanted them to have sex in some type of way in order for the series to move on. I was really happy with this episode!

The Terry B & Arlene side story is annoying and makes no sense. I think by book 4 Arlene hated sookie, & vampires, so they should have just stuck to that...She annoys me. :) lol

Lisa- I can't imagine it will be easy for her parents to watch her in TB at all! Hahaha..

Especially because she is an asshole & will probably do some bad shit this season (Debbie Pelt..lol)

I am still bummed that I can't watch it this week sad.gif They suck! hahahaha

I really liked this episode (minus the nasty head spin)! I wasn't sure after the first show how I was going to like this season but it is getting very good! I loved Alcide in the books so I was definitely excited to see him. And I think that they cast Franklin Mott perfectly. He's a little younger than what I pictured in the books but his look is exactly what I pictured. I agree that the Terry/Arlene side story is annoying and I am still trying to figure out exactly how Jessica fits in to everything. Oh, and I am waiting for more Eric too!!!!

Jessica is just a made up character, I think they kept her around because she's a fan favorite like Lafayette. The whole dealing V sub plot was not in the books. IMPO, those characters kind of update and expand the plot line. The early books feel a little dated, but then again they are 10+ years old!

I am really liking that this book is following the book a little more closely so I have some idea of what to expect. Of course with this show that will all change next episode.

I wondered who hired Franklin? He's perfect for the role but creepy!

I'll be counting down the days until the 11th!

Franklin is totally creepy!

Erin the best part about the books is when she talks about fashion.... lol! Can't recall any example, but IMO that's what really dated the book. Soo for writers out there, that's a good thing to remember. Don't include clothes that the characters are wearing as a strong detail.

I like Jessica so I'm glad she's still around. I loved how she killed the dude and then lost him.

Yeah, I like Jessica too and Lafayette has been my fave since I started watching, so I like that they switch it up a bit.

I actually didn't think that Franklin was a good fit. I'll have to see how I feel when I get to him in my second reading of the books (I'm stuck cuz I'm missing book 2!). Maybe I'll think he's a better fit once I read it again. But I pictured someone else. I don't know his name, but maybe I can find a picture of him...

He was on Damages and that's who I pictured for Franklin. Unless I'm getting him confused with who I pictured for the King. I really need to reread so I can get my characters straight.

I also like Jessica...what I was wondering is how they will make her fit into the whole Bill saga. I do like that the show is different from the books...it keeps it even more interesting. I was so upset when Lafayette was killed in the book - he's a great part of the show. The books made me laugh with the fashion...I think even for the time the books were written, the fashion was horrible :) I think that Pam wore like turtleneck sweaters or something like that. Can you picture the Pam on the show in a turtleneck sweater - ha!

I love the guy who plays Franklin! I always think of him from when he was in that movie "Where the Heart is" with Natalie Portman & Ashley Judd (one of my favs) and he was on the Tudors last season....Before he got beheaded of course..LOL

I also pictured Franklin older & I pictured the King a little more Feminine...LOL

LOVE True Blood and LOVE Eric! lol

My only complaint, is that I do find the character dynamic a little cliche. I hate to draw comparissons to Buffy - because these shows aren't even on the same level, but Bill being a little whiny and brooding reminds me of how Angel was in the earlier seasons of Buffy. And now Eric - the hot bad boy who's into Sookie, reminds me how Spike was near the end of the Buffy series. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE the show. And I guess cliches and cliches because they work. :P

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
