Claudia Rodriguez-Citlali *TDD Slide Show

Recommended Posts

So I finally got a response back from Claudia regarding TDD fee the next day, she told me it was going to be $850.00. girl_werewolf.gifwooooooow! Thats more than what they charge out here in CA... So I decided to ask her to send me a sample of the work and this is what she sent me, so I wanted to share with you girls the clip. The TDD doesn't really look like its anything that I was expecting for an $850.00 shoot. As a matter of fact, after finishing up the entire clip I was still waiting to see the TDD pix. I have seen so many on this site that I think my expectations are pretty high. Dont get me wrong, Im still booking her for my wedding but I think TDD is too overpriced.

Not sure if Im even suppose to be exposing those to everyone but oh well... lol What is the difference between her and Claudia? I hear Claudia's work is amazing also but I have yet to see her TDD. I think TDD is a bit to expensive, I saw some photographer charging 500.00 I just dont know which one it was... -ugh!

One of the problems with TTD or Day after sessions is that they are in such high demand here in the Riviera Maya that booking these dates can conflict with booking weddings.

Especially if you are asking for this session on a weekend. After all, our clients get married every day of the week, so any day session could be a wedding.

If I book a bunch of shoots filling my calender with $850 jobs, then I'm loosing out on making potentially 5+ times that for 1 wedding client... We were faced with the same problem.

Our May 2008 looked like this: (22 weddings + 8 TTD Sessions)....Not any room in there for lotsa ttd's... Lots of our clients ask for the ttd as well as the wedding, but the low cost of the TTD isnt good for business when you look at it from the accounting side of possibly booking weddings on those dates.

This may explain the difference you are seeing from California... There are some pricey folks there though...

I just peeked at the slideshow since I have met the bride, but I have a couple of comments...

#1 Leshay you looked fantastic!!!! Wow! Congratulations to you both! The photographs show it was a beautiful heartfelt day! smile159.gif

#2 Cancun bride, when you compare the prices with the photographers in Cali it is good to be sure you are comparing apples to apples, ie. experience and ability of the photographer and also what is included in that price. If the fee includes only the session and you need to purchase all the images afterwards it may not be the "deal" it appears. I think that most experienced photographers will charge at least that as a creative fee if they are including the set of edited high resolution files. If the full size files are not included it would be good to find out what the cost would be to purchase all those images (even the ones you don't want to have printed will be part of your memories and you will probably want to have them!) and then compare pricing based on that! Hope that helps!

best,

Elizabeth

We are having Claudia do our wedding, and I wanted TTD pics too, but I didn't even see anything mentioned about it on her website or anything... I still really want them, but I am guessing we will not be able to because it would cost a lot the following day... I guess we would have to see how things go...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
