In-suite reception

Recommended Posts

It was actually some photos a vendor on here posted for me that sealed the deal. The pics on the patio were awesome!!

Plus MGM has a lion habitat and I am a total big cat buff, who could say no to getting married at a hotel with Lions!!!

I will let you know how mine goes Sept 19th. I hear the Terrace suite is nice because it has an outdoor area but I hear the decor is outdated. You should be able to get pricing through the normal reservations line.

We paid about 700/night at the mgm for a terrace suite, though that is ab out as cheap as it will get. If you are getting married at mgm you get a chapel discount on rooms. I just kept checking the reservations site for them to open booking (they won't book more than 11 months out tops on the big suites)

We did end up picking outside catering from masterpiece cuisine, sooo much cheaper and my contact assured me they have had no issues bringing food in, the hotels try to discourage it because they want your money. We also plan to buy our alcohol at the liquor store to save money

I live in Vegas, I have looked around and for me, I found that paris with Bally's has a in suite with catering for your number of guest. They even have different suites , on is a two story, maybe that would work, it was reasonable,,, did you pick where your ceremony will be? Paris chapel is beautiful.

You pretty much can at all the hotels as long as you're discreet about it. They pretend to be all strict about it so that you will order from them, but it's your room. If you want to order Domino's you can, so if you want to order from Jason's Deli or bring in party trays from Sam's Club, you can do that too.
How can you be descrete about bringing in food in? I'm wanting to bring in tryas from costco and my own alcohol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
