I don't have templates yet so all my photos are saved on photobucket in a wedding file and all the text items I attached and emailed to myself!! I do this like once a week so I'm pretty up to date in case I crash. But if I crash in the middle of the week, then damn. I'm screwed. LOL

I've been told that April is an AMAZING time to go to DR, usually the last two weeks of April. That's when we're planning for too, somewhere around the 26th of April. There are a lot of resorts in PC to choose from, I narrowed mine down by saying "Okay, I only want around 500 rooms, therefore a smaller resort, and I want it to be kid friendly, and below $2000, and then narrowed down my choices to which one had a better pool, better beach, etc, and I found EdenH :) Good luck choosing a resort, it's almost as hard as choosing FI lol But like finding FI, once you've made your choice, the hardest part is over with cheesy.gif

I'm a 2011 bride! Playa del Carmen Mexico!! We still haven't picked a date because FI's work schedule is so up in the air right now. I'm hoping for April or May 2011... and praying he won't need to be out of town during those months!

I'm glad I'll have so much time to plan everything.... however it is frustrating to know that wedding package prices will probably be higher than they are listed now, and there is no way to know how much travel costs and hotel packages will be so far in advance!

oh no! What happened??
At least you are from an area where you can count on warm sunny weather during the summer! I have always wanted an outdoor wedding, and our weather in Vancouver, even during the summer can be unpredictable! Which is why I am so set on a destination wedding!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
