I don't have too many pictures that really feature the resort and not my FI and I. I will post what I have. The website photos actually very accurate. I assumed they were touched up until I arrived at ERC for the first time. The site is Excellence Group Resorts

That's great!!

I got so worried when I emailed the wedding coordinator of one of the resorts we want and she told me my week was already full!! Turns out she misunderstood and thought we meant 2010. They are not taking reservations yet for 2011. I've talked to my TA and she said she has called both resorts to put in a note for our date so the moment they take reservations she'll know. cool.gif

Haven't truly met with a TA yet because we can't officially book until I think they said 10 months ahead of time when airfares come out? I want to use a TA from this forum, they do price matching. But my family is skeptical because we can't meet with her face to face. So I'm glad the WC will reserve my date, makes me feel better about not booking for a few months.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
