RMB wedding info from WC!!!!

I asked the WC A LOT of questions!!!!I asked if there was going to be a rehearsal the day before the wedding and this is the response I got...[/color]We don't do a rehearsal. During our pre-meeting when you arrive , I will go through everything that will be done on the day of your wedding. You will be able to rehearse on your own if we don't have a wedding the day before. I think it is best to just be as detailed as possible in your instructions to Keneika, if you are writing your vows, do all your prep and ensure that the photographer, floral team and DJ all have their own separate instrcutions in order for everything to go as smoothly as possible. I still plan to bring my own sound dock, as backup, Ipod and depending on the type of decos (or lack thereof) bring down extras (ie hanging flowers) for the gazebo and of course for the reception setting. Yes I am getting nervous. I still need to contact the photographer again and make sure I have that reserved. I thought this was going to be easier have a WC do all this for me. I don't want to have to drag all the decor with me!?I don't know what to bring with me.... I am also debating OOT bags!? Do I really need to do thishuh.gif This is getting really expensive! Whatever you have I would greatly appreciate any info I can get.... thank you i will pm you

When you are renting the open bar you are not paying for the booze, you are paying for the bartender. It is likely a bar that they would not normally be staffed and you are paying to have a bartender there.

 

Its hard to say if it is worth it as we are not yet familar with the resort layout and don't really have a good idea how far a bar will be to the reception area yet. I wrote the front desk an e-mail asking for a resort map...but they didn't have one they could send me by e-mail. They did have one they could fax me, but I don't have a fax machine...so that didn't work. If anyone has access to a fax that can receive the map it would be great if you could get a copy of that from them and scan and post it here so we can try to figure it out.

I tried to have Keneika fax me the map but she tried 3 times and could not get it to go through. I do not think she was doing something right with the country code because I was getting other faxes fine. I emailed what I thought was the front desk but have no response. I just gave up.
