Unique Idea of BM Gifts

Recommended Posts

Okay Ladies I need some help!

I am the 3 out of 4 best friends to get married. I didn't expected to be getting married yet, so I recently gave my great BM gift idea away to one of my best friends. Coach clutches, monogramed hand mirrors.

Now I don't know what to get. I want something special and unique. I am buying there dresses (they don't know that yet) but I am looking for something more. Something extra special.

Any help would be great appreciated!!

Thanks so much!

Ofcourse depending on your budget, I also love the idea of designing a hanger for a neckles en give all girls one, or maybe you can give them an experience wou share together before the wedding, do something crazy, and only you can talk about itm maybe a bungee jump, or a parachute jump, you can make it as crazy as you like, ofcourse it is stiil the gesture that counts.

You can also make a beautiful peom, and let that written on glas,,,

Hope I brought you some ideas...

I've gotten some great gifts for being a BM...

1. My SIL gave all of her girls beautiful pearl earings, along with purses to match our dresses and jewlery for the wedding. The pearls weren't for the wedding day.

2. My BF gave us beautiful jewlery to wear the day of the wedding.

3. My other BF gave us each mp3 players, jewlery for the wedding, treated us to our hair and makeup and for me (I was the MOH) she gave me a spa treatment gift certificate.

I've also seen people do very personalized things... a helicopter flight for 1 couple and a dinner and show tickets for another couple. Think about what type of gift you want to give them, maybe treat them to a spa day or something like that or a free personal training session at their gym or tanning.

I also bought my girl's dresses. I gave them, what I called my BM swag bags - personalized beach bags with their names and that was filled with a Bath & Body Works maincure/pedicure gift set, nail polish, travel blanket, shot glass necklace (this was more a gag gift for my girls), swarovski jewelry for the wedding, but it included beads of other colors than the wedding colors so they could wear it with anything, photo album, and flip flops. I gave them the bags at our shower, but I also plan on getting them a gift certificate to the spa at the resort and will give that to them with their welcome bags, or at the rehearsal dinner (in case they want to use it on the wedding day). I will also be giving them a photo book when we get back and once we get our pics as a thank you/Christmas gift if we get the pics in time since our wedding in in November.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
