Prewedding beauty routine

Ok, I searched this whole thread so I think no one else has posted this. I am wondering if any one has a pre wedding beauty routine. I am 70 some days away. I have been going to the gym and eating healthy all year. Lost and kept 10lbs off and really toned my arms. Yesterday I started thinking about teeth whitening, nighttime moisturizing of problem spots, etc. I also have to use a rinse to cover up some grey hairs before the wedding. So does anyone have a time line? I want to cover all the bases, skin, body, teeth, hair, nails, eyebrows, waxes, ect.

i dont have a timeline per se, but start making sure from now until the wedding that you are drinking at least 1 liter of water a day to stay hydrated.

we left on a wednesday for our saturday wedding, and i got waxed that monday. 2 weeks before the wedding, i started the GoSMILE teeth whitening, recommended by my dentist (starter kit is like $120 i think).

Hey-here's what I have done thus far: I have had a couple micro-derms done to my face and have been exercising at least 3 times a week....(the eating is another story! sad.gif) I have managed to shed some inches! cheesy.gif

I am just over 2 weeks away till I leave and have scheduled a hair appt for this weekend and an eyebrow waxing. # days before I go, I will be getting a mani/pedi.

Since you still have a few months left, I would focus on facials, excercise, and start the teeth whitening..

My face tends not to react well with sunblock. I usually break out on vacations and such. One of the things I did a few months before the wedding is try differnt sunblocks and moisturizers with sunblock to make sure that my skin can handle it. The LAST thing you want on your wedding day is a great big pimple.

I also got a base tan to ensure that I wasn't burned and had no tan lines.

  • 3 weeks later...

So ladies, I'm 50 days away. I have started my teeth whiting. FH and I have gone back to the gym 4 days a week cardio and weight training. I have been using the Nivea anti-cellulite cream-don't know if it is working but it can't hurt! November I will start my tanning to get a nice even base. I always take a multi-vitamin and I'm really trying with the water, that is hard for me.

My hair is a whole other issue for me. It is naturally curley and long. I had a hair style tried but now I'm thinking I want something else. Overall my hair just doesn't feel healthy. I haven't colored in years I condition, it's just not enough. Any suggestions? Frizz is a big issue for me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
