Yes I have actually. They responded within 3 days. I just recently sent in our wedding request date for May 18, 2013. Have you heard anything back yet?

Yes, we are all set with our date, and I actually just sent out our Save the Dates 3 days ago woot.gif. I had everything confirmed within 5 days of our initial request. Have you decided which resort you want to go with? I know you were looking at both the Suites and the Beach.

Congrats. When are u getting married? We are thinking about July 29,2013. Would it be possible to send me the contact person for the beach location? Tried but the suite said they don't accommodate children n I was told the beach does. Been trying to get the contact for wedding coordinator but no luck. Thank u.

I knew the Grand was adults only, but the information I have states that the Suites allows children. They have a Lucy's Kids Club on their property... are you sure you weren't speaking with someone at the Grand?  Our date is April 27, 2013. I did everything via email and used the general wedding email address on the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach website (under the wedding section). The person answering my emails was Kymoya and the email address is [email protected]

That is awesome!! Congrats!! We decided to go with the Beach - more affordable for our guests. We were not able to get the May 18th msncry.gif so we decided to go with May 19th. Keep us updated on your planning!!

I have a cousin who is a professional photographer, so we will be bringing her with us. She will be staying at the resort, so it is my understanding that we won't have to pay any extra fees for her.

We are arriving that day!!  If you need security to keep the tourists out of the ceremony site, I'm sure we can work it out with my guy friends! haha just kidding.  How long are you staying after the wedding?

It's such a relief to have the date set, and from what I hear they take care of everything so we have nothing to stress over!

Happy Planning!

That's great!!!  Yeah I believe as long as they are getting their 3 night stay out of you they are fine with it.  That's such a bonus to have a photographer in the family!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
