Hi Ladies, ok so I did 2 days of the shred so far and was intending on doing straight through till the wedding but i had to skip today(3rd day) since i could barely get in and out of the car and up and down stairs. lets not even talk about peeing, that takes 10 minutes LOL FI did it with me on my day 2 (his day 1) and he is now feeling it too. cant wait to see what happens after 30 days

I ordered it on Amazon last week and it came in only 2 days. I did it Sunday and today, and I had to use the handicap bar in the restroom to lower myself to pee! My legs are KILLING! I can't wait to see the results after 30 days.
OMG, you're killing me! I tried walking up and down the stairs and thought I was going to die! My FI thought I had fallen down the stairs and hurt myself, I was scream, "F%*K my legs, I can't move!"

It does get better after a few days... lol.

I did Level 2 again this morning and I was sweating like a pig! I think if I was doing it more than once a week I'd be seeing more results (it's hard to find the time with my running schedule). I'm going to try to do it much more over the next 2 1/2 weeks before my BD shoot!

Carly I think it's totally worth it to get it - it's pretty cheap, and it's definitely effective depending on how much effort you put in. Jillian really does know what she's doing but I think it's up to you how much effort you put into each move and how often you do the workouts, etc...

I am DEF going to purchase this, but have to wait a few days for my monthly paycheck to clear. I think it sounds fantastic and I def need to see results. Once I get it, I am going to get up early and make sure I do it daily, cuz I need results FAST!

So after reading this thread, I decided to give this a try since some of my clothes are getting a tad too tight (stinking thighs) & my tummy is getting on my nerves!!!! Not to mention that I'm returning to Jamaica in June & refuse to look the way I do now in a bikini.

Target had it on sale so I got in on Sunday. I did it today because I was already sore since my softball season started yesterday & it was my first game since last season.
Right now my thighs are throbbing. I could barely walk when I got up this morning from all the running around I did during softball, so I can imagine the pain that I'll be in tomorrow from Jillian.

I have 5lb weights but knew that they were going to be waaayyy to heavy from your reviews, so tomorrow I have to get 3lb weights. I can only imagine how sore my arms are gonna be once I add the weights.

Basically the cardio absolutely killed me. The jumping jacks & jumping rope & butt kicks were the worst for me!!! Everytime she got on the floor & got back up to do the cardio, I wanted to cry.

I can take the squats & abs & lunges, but the cardio had me dying. The worst thing was that I can't find my dvd remote so I couldn't pause it which I guess is a good thing since she clearly discourages breaks. I just kept looking at the clock wondering when the longgg 20 minutes would be up.

Anyway, after that I did my wii fit for another 30 minutes. I also bought Denise Austin's Ab's dvd & will add that to my regime.

While my goal is to lose a few pounds, my main focus is toning, getting rid of my tummy & improving my cardio, so I plan to stick with this & hope that it gets better.

I really liked how she kept changing the exercises & had you doing something different every 2 minutes. But one thing I know is that I truly can't imagine me moving on to level 2 anytime soon!

Thanks for all of your advice & reviews.

Well, based on amazon and bdw reviews, I decided to shell out the $8.99 for this DVD to mix up with my hot yoga classes. I must say it's been in the shrink wrapper for the past week, but I'm hoping to start it this week! I will post back with results.

I started with Level 1 this past weekend. Just wondering, have you been doing this every day or every other day? When I used to got to the gym I would do upper body one day, then lower the next to give muscles a chance to recoup. Not sure if I'd have to do that with this also? What do you think?

I think you're *supposed* to do it every day. I don't though...I just do it whenever I feel like substituting it in for one of my runs (about once or twice a week). I think you'd see more of a difference if you do it more often.

Just as an FYI anyone who wants the DVD asap, you can download it to your computers at ExerciseTV.com. I downloaded Level1 for $4.99 and I'll use my laptop to view it. Figured I'd just throw it out there for you!
