I do weight train with my FI or by myself pretty often too so I am sure that helped me get through it...and I did that 2 days ago and I am a bit sore! wink.gif

all 3 levels are total body workouts...Jillian explains all much better on the video but basically all levels have strength, abs, cardio.

Wow Andi - 10lbs! Kudos to you!

 

I just got mine the other day...I started it the 29 and I really feel good. The first day I was very tired by the end, the second day I noticed it was easier but still a few of the moved were challenging....each day gets better. It's day 4 and I'm not so sore anymore - that means it time to start pushing harder :-)

I got the video and I lift and do cardio at the gym 5-6 days a week and I also found this video to be challenging. I am gonna start to do it religiously I have just been doing every now and then.

I got my dvd today!!!! smile29.gif

 

I think I will watch the intro tonight so I can start the 30-day shred tomorrow morning :) I have BD pics in about 45 days, so I'm committed!

 

The cover says "Lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days" - if I can lose 5 I will be happy!

Ashli keep us posted on your results! I want to try this but I'll wait to see what you think of it first. How much weight are you going to use for hand weights? I'll need to buy those too since I don't have any. I would love to lose 5 lbs in one month!

I tell you what...I finally decided about 5 days ago that I was ready for level 2...Level 2 is kicking my butt!!!! it is pretty hard...makes me sweat...and my muscles are sore too, so I guess that is all good!

So I tried the first part of the video a week or two ago. I am not in the best shape right now, but I'm also not hugely overweight or anything like that. This was SO hard! The lunges are what really got to me I think! I was using 5 lb. hand weights and struggled! My thighes and calves hurt more than they ever have for a full 3 days (maybe more!) afterwards! Due to the excessive pain (I am pathetic, I know), I took a week off, but I am going to try to start up my 30 Day Shred again this week...wish me luck!!! All I know is that if it hurts, it means its working so I def have faith in this program!
