Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred

On the note of Bob and Jillian, who do you think is the tougher trainer on the Biggest Loser? I would have to say Jillian, and not just because she kicks my butt too! Anyone who watches this season will remember that a couple of episodes ago she had her mom (a psychologist) come in to talk to Team Black... I think this is something that is very useful for the contestants, since sometimes there are underlying issues at the heart of their weight gain. Bob didn't think this was necessary, and almost laughed at it. I got a new perspective on how much or of an all-around trainer Jillian is... IMHO!!

I would agree with you that Jillian is so tough, but she sees great results! I am so happy that Tracey is gone now. Who are you pulling for it win it?

 

I need to go do my boot camp now... sorry I totally hijacked the thread!

I love Shay and I was pulling for Abbey all the way and still miss her, but agreed that I am so happy that Tracey is gone. She was certifiably nuts! You would think she was planning and wedding and thats what made her crazy! lol

 

Wheres Angel at? I think I saw that she was going to go and get the video and get started and I am wondering how she is doing. I am flipping back and forth between Biggest Loser boot camp and P90X!

Karen- It is great! I love it! It really makes you sweat and I love that I don't need any equipment (or alot of space) to do the workout.

I'm here!! I got it yesterday and I watched yesterday too. I'm going to start it today, probably this evening. I'm getting pumped up about this. I don't know why when I know she's going to kick my ass. Stay tuned, I'll let you know how I do.

Okay so yesterday was my first workout on the 30 day shred and so far the damage doesn't seem too bad. Although i can't quite tell if I'm a bit sore from the workout or from falling down my stairs yesterday LOL! I never thought I was that accident prone until FI pointed it out recently - I guess he was right!

 

I only started with the 3lb weights since I wasn't sure what to expect. I think I'll stick with them for a few few days, then bump up to 5lbs after that. My plan is to do my month with this workout, then switch to the 30day workout from the Making the Cut book once I'm more used to all the exercises Jillian uses. I hoping that alternating back and forth between the two workouts will help keep my body from getting adjusted too quickly.
