Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred

Funny you should say that:  I did 5 days of the shred and started to get bored.  So Monday I started level 2..... yikes.  I had to push but it was fun!  This one I will definitley stay on a little longer to "master the level" before going to Level 3.

I'm a bit under the weather so hopefully I can get a work-out in this evening.

Are any of you girls still doing this?

Yep I am! I don't feel like it is that repetitive- makes me feel like I am better at it each day!

I am still on level 3- I took 3 days off due to the wedding I was in last weekend so I am doing it this week and then I will have completed the 30 day shred!! :)

  • 2 weeks later...

YES I definetly recommend it! I completed the 30 day shred about a week ago! I lost 6 pounds (I only wanted to lose 10 pounds total) and see tightness in my thighs, more muscles in my arms and I have a slight 2-pack abs, lol.

It is awesome and it is only 20 minutes! :) I just started Jillians No More Trouble Zones on Monday which is a 40 min work out! I am very sore!

Keep up the great work, you inspire me!  I took this week off nothing more than going to bed really late and just being plain ole tired. Back to the grind sunday.

Why thank you!

Once you get in the groove of it, it is a lot easier..I actually feel bad when I can't work out!

How did the work out go yesterday??

Ok ladies, so the moving and the house is done.  Now it's time to focus on the wedding.  I weighed myself in today at 155 and started my first day of the shred.  It was tough getting through the cardio sets.  I'm really going to try to stick to this.  My wedding is in less than 3 monhts.

I've never tried this DVD, but by watching her on the show...GOSH am I scared of her!

Gotta love her attitude, though :)

I've tried p90X for a while, and it was killer at the start - most of it was just too much for me, and I'm not even overweight. I found out that simply going to the gym with family has been the best decision I could have made - they keep me encouraged because we all go together at around the same time so...find what works fo you! :)

Yes you can repeat it.  I did it for 30 days and I have purchased another one of her DVDS and I mix it up between the two.  I plan to buy a few more and then in about 6 months do the 30 day shred again!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
