But I did get out for 30mins for a walk with the dog! Its not as good as the shred, but at least its something!! I will be doing BOTH this evening...I promise!!!

At least you did something....maybe you should try something other than the shred to get back into the swing of things?!?!? When I started the shred I was determined I was going to do it for 30 days and then keep going.....that was an epic fail! and the longer I had gone the less I wanted to get back into it. I started doing the biggest loser weight loss yoga, b/c I thought it might be something I'd enjoy doing....and I do! I look forward to doing it....but it's also gotten me back to wanting to go to the gym, and I've managed to do that on the off days to change it up! You can do it, you just need to find something that you enjoy so you won't not do it and then feel guilty!

I actually don't mind the shred...and come the fall/winter I will get back to the gym (I hate going to the gym in the summer...it's way too nice out to be couped up in there!) I just have to find (make!) the time to do ANYTHING! I decided to go on a cooking spree last night & made everything ground beef so that I could freeze it for meals later on...and by the time I was done wtih that it was 7:30...back from a walk with the dog...8:00...and I still hadn't eaten dinner!! Tonight...I swear! Shred...dinner...walk the dog...that's my plan!

Well I did it! I took the wrapper off of the DVD last night LMAO

I hadn't been to a fitness class in almost a month and let me tell you Level 1 kicked my butt.  It's pretty amazing how 20 minutes can do so much.

The bad part is I woke up with the biggest kink in my back this morning :(  But i'm glad to be back at it - I think the hardest part is just getting into that initial workout and I procrastinated for long enough :)

Hoping to stick it out!!

Don't worry the first time is always sooo much harder! Once you do it about 3-4 times it gets 10 times easier. I'm doing it this evening when I get home from work.

I've been trying really hard to eat well and stay on my "Mexico diet". It usually lasts until I get home and the fiance is making cheeseburgers or steaks or pizza for dinner. I should stop letting him cook!

I DID IT!!! WOOHOO!!!

My ass is killing me today though! lol

I have to take the pooch to the vet after work today, so I'll just have to settle with a walk this evening...then back to the shred tomorrow!

Does anyone find that the first 2 circuits KILL you, but then the third circuit seems easier? I always have to take breaks during the first 2, but never the third!

The first circuit is the hardest for me, just cause my shoulders start to burn from those squats. The second two are a lot easier though- I think the third is the easiest because you get to lay down for half of it, lol

well if i would have known you get to lie down for most of level 3 i would have started there haha

my legs are a little sore today

kurlyks - I'm with you.  I can do so well with my diet while I am at work Mon-Fri eating well and than dinner I try to portion it as well no matter the sizes but as soon as the weekend comes - im screwed lol.  The way I see it - if i'm eating okay Mon-Fri 5 days is better than none :)

well for the next 4 weeks, i only plan to do the shred 1X a week. i'm working on speed training for an upcoming 5K (the terry fox run) with a goal to beat my previous 5K time, so I've put together a pretty intense 7 day a week training program mixing running, riding (i'm a horseback rider), strength training and the shred!  Unfortunately the shred takes too long to do for nights when I have a ride and strength scheduled. When I get home at 7pm, I think it will be easier to do some strength circuits vs. the shred before making supper. Saturdays will by my shredding day so we'll see how that goes!!! :)

kudos to all you ladies for keeping up with it! :)

I think they meant the 3rd circuit in level 1 not the 3rd level :) I haven't done the third level yet, but I think it is a lot harder than level 1.

I'm with both you and kurlyks, I try to portion dinners but my FI does all the cooking and it is all sooooo good! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
