Wow, the first time I did it, I did the warm up, all three levels, and the cool down....and I thought I was going to die! I then googled it, and realized that you're supposed to work up to the 3 levels! lol I love Bob, I find he's great for the yoga, and although its hard I don't want to punch him in the face like I do with Jillian!

I've had the shred and just started doing it again. I normally do Jillian's online workouts, but today was supposed to be an off day. I ate like crap at lunch and slacked last week so I felt guilty. LOL Good luck ladies!!! My wedding is 47 days out so its crunch time!!

just found this thread now....i looove the shred. When I got engaged last august I was at my heaviest i had ever been and was not going to get married like that. I found her dvd and over the next 4 or 5 months i lost over 40 pounds!

I've kinda hit my plateau a few months back  and have not been doing it regularly anymore. plus i bought my dress and the lady was all like you can't lose anymore weight otherwise your dress will be to big and we don't cover the cost of alterations for that...sooo that sucks because i had 10 pounds left to hit my goal, and i was really motivated but she kinda killed it for me lol

to all you ladies who just started keep it up! i know you may feel like you'll never get to level 3 but its so rewarding when you do! and it feels great that on kind of a lazy day you only do level one and you breeze through it and remeber when you could barely get through half of it!

I have the shred and have done all 3 levels (not for 30 days though).  I'm going to start over at level 1 and use heavier weights. Are you supposed to do each level for 10 days straight with no rest days??!!  Or do you only do it a few times/week?  Not sure if I can manage 30 days with no breaks, even if its only 20 minutes per day.

Juliet- We did it for 30 days straight.  Won't lie- it was tough to find the motivation to do it every day!  However, I lost like 15 lbs doing it.  When I felt a level was starting to not be as challenging, I would bump up to the next.  I let my body dictate it and oh boy will it!  Good luck!

I'm going to start this up again.  I think I'm going to do it 5 days a week this time to give myself a break.

So I heard about this work-out on another thread (I think jamk32179 told me about it) and decided to give it try (after reading through half of this thread) so said and done. I just finished my first level 1 work-out. I'm sure I will feel it tomorrow :S I used to be in excellent shape and I'm now one of those skinny-fat girls I read about in the beginning of this thread, I have worked out on and off (mostly off lol) during the past 1.5 year and I'm currently in horrible shape. If I would have tried this work-out a couple of years ago I probably wouldn't have been very impressed, but now it is perfect for getting myself into shape again. I can't wait!

I will try to do it every day for at least 30 days, but will take a day off now and then if I feel that my body needs it or if I for some other reason can't do it.

5 days a week sounds much better!  I think I can do that - I need one final push as my wedding is in 44 days!  Wish me luck...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
