Uncomfortable Shoes

Recommended Posts

Speaking of shoes...

I've been shopping quite a bit. I found ones that I love at Davids Bridal, but they are so uncomfortable!!! Seriously, I don't know how anyone could go hours wearing these things. And the ones that i've found that are comfortable are crazy expensive.

There has to be a middle ground somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions of a brand that is comfortable to wear and reasonably priced?

I have my first fitting next month and really need to get them before. Any ideas yall might have would be AMAZING! TIA!!!

Why are those uncomfy? Is it the heel height, cut across the toe, too narrow, etc?

I think feet are as different as body types and you have to find the right shoe that fit in all areas. Plus, whatever you're used to will be most comfy. If you're a nurse, heels will be odd. If you're a business professional, sandal straps feel funny.

What brands have you liked in the past? One thing I love about Zappos.com is they have reviews where the girls say if the shoe is true to size, runs small, feels high, etc.

Hey! Im a nurse! I can walk in heels with the best of them! Just kidding... I usually have to put gel insoles in all my heel-type shoes unless they're kitten heels. Hey, Im used to wearing running shoes or Crocs all day at work.

Im not much help, b/c Im wearing flip flops to my wedding. But try the insoles, they might just do the trick!

I would agree with the whole insert idea. I wear them all the time with things.. and I even have the stickies for strappy shoes and this really does help. Just to give you something else so your not smooshing your feet to no end. Alas my shoes for the wedding are flip flops. I have a pair of "Big Girl" shoes but those are mostly for pictures.

I bought these stick-on pads from Aldo for a pair of heels I had to wear for a wedding. I don't remember what styles they had, but I bought ones for the balls of the feet. They were sized so that they can work w/ open toed shoes. They're made of a cloth material, so they won't slip. My feet felt just fine :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
